*INTRODUCTION*
Are you looking for the cheapest way to service your
computer?
You have come to the right place and person. I can service
your home computer, home office computer,
and/or your small business computer systems.
The services I provide can be performed at your site or at mine
depending on what you choose. All services performed are charged on
an hourly basis (charges are listed below). If your service requires
parts1 I can get the parts, but will charge you a small 5-10% markup
(can be negotiated) on them for the run and time. There are several
advantages of me getting the parts instead of you:
1. You don’t have to setup a time to go shopping for the parts.
2. I will get the best parts for the cheapest prices for you (I have
contracts with some computer retail stores).
3. The parts will be covered in the 30 day warranty that I provide
plus the manufactures warranty.
4. I will get the exact parts and there will be no room for
misunderstands, so your job will be done quicker.
5. For updates/upgrades, I can determine which brand/model is best
or efficient.
6. I will put the hardware and/or software through some tests to
make sure they will work for you.
7. You will be covered for all parts I get.
If you supply the parts then there is no need for the markup. When
you service your
computer with me, I will give you a free 30 day warranty on all
parts (only on the parts I purchase) and labor serviced, repaired,
and/or replaced. This means that if anything goes wrong (problem
must be related to the service) during that first 30 days after the
service, I will fix it for free (even if I have to buy additional
parts).

*MY EXPERIENCES*
I have three (4) years on-hand experience working
with the local City Hall MIS department, dealing with most of these
services. I also have a lot of personal experiences for all of these
of over 7 years. I built my own personal computer from scratch and
it has been working perfectly for me.
*MY SERVICES AND CHARGES*
Charges for each service will be negotiated on a flat
rate basis. Charges are based on the labor hours required, parts
prices (if needed), and the type of service required. You can also
get free services if you have me do certain work for you.
Computer Repair Stores/Vendors charge close to $100 or even more
just for the initial
inspection. They charge between $40-$80 per hour for labor. Then all
this plus the price of parts (and they don't shop and get you the
best price either) plus they might add up to a 20% - 30% markup for
getting the parts.
But with me you only pay a fraction of that amount.

- Operating System Installation - Installing/Upgrading your
operating system. Also includes Un-installation/Repair of your
operating system.
- Software Installation - Installing/Upgrading your software. Also
includes
Un-installation/Repair of software.
- Hardware Installation/Un-installation - Installing hardware that
you bought or removing old hardware.
- Hardware/Software Upgrades - Looking at your current
hardware/software then determining the proper upgrades and then
performing the upgrades.
- Building Your Custom Computer Systems - Building a computer system
from your
specifications from scratch.
- Virus Removal - Removing viruses from your computer.
- Troubleshooting - Finding the source of the problem.
- Data Recovery/Backup/Transfer - Recovering lost data, backing up
important data, and transferring data between different computers.
- Small Visual Basic Programming Projects - Simple programs that
automate the tasks you want performed for you on your computer.
- Personal Website Design - Can create your website (look at this
one as an example).
* I can also custom build a computer to fit your needs.
* Programming Projects are for small programs on special requests
and cost differ from the rates listed on this page.
* I have special software for recovering lost data files (all data
recovery is not guaranteed).
I can also setup Preventative Maintenance Inspection programs to
prevent future break downs, for regular updates, upgrades, regular
cleanup, tune-up, virus updates/cleanup, and to keep your computer
running smoothly.
*PAYMENT METHODS AND OPTIONS*
All billing will be done on paper and/or maybe by
email. If service is schedule at your site, at least 10% or $25
(which ever is higher) of down payment must be received on or before
scheduled service date and time. If it is scheduled to be serviced
at my site, then no down payment is required. When the work has
complete you will be contacted to the point-of-contact of your
choice and you can then pay and pick up you system.
I accept Cash, Personal Checks (ID & Phone # required), Money
Orders, and Cashiers Checks. Other methods of payment can be
negotiated. I might be able to accept Debit or Credit card payments
through Paypal if necessary.
